Southwest Florida Screen Specialists
Re-Screening Pro restores the screened spaces Florida homes are built around. Every job starts with a careful look at what you have, so the repair fits the problem instead of a one-size template.
Re-Screening Pro provides rescreening services for pool cages, pool enclosures, lanais, patios, porches, windows and doors throughout Southwest Florida, including Sarasota, Venice, Bradenton and North Port. Each project begins with an on-site assessment of the screens and frames, followed by a clear repair plan, from a single torn panel to a complete rescreen. Rescreening Services
A screen is only as good as the way it is installed. Mesh that is stretched unevenly, seated with worn spline or fastened to a loose frame will start to sag and pull out long before the material itself wears out. Our rescreening services focus on the details that decide how long the result holds up.
That means checking frame condition before any new mesh goes on, choosing a screen type that suits how you use the space, setting consistent tension across each panel and seating fresh spline firmly into the channel. Edges are trimmed clean, and the work area is left tidy when we pack up.

Re-Screening Pro
Not every torn screen means the whole enclosure needs work. A small puncture in otherwise healthy mesh can sometimes be addressed on its own, while a panel with a long tear or brittle, sun-faded mesh is usually better replaced outright. When many panels are chalky, sagging or tearing at the edges, a full rescreen is often the more sensible investment.
During the assessment we walk you through what we see and why we recommend one approach over another. You decide with the facts in front of you, not a sales pitch.

Screened outdoor areas keep insects, leaves and debris out while letting air and light in. When screens are torn or sagging, that protection disappears and the space starts to look neglected from the street.
Well-installed screening restores comfort for everyday use, helps protect the enclosure itself and supports the overall look and value of the property. For Southwest Florida homeowners, it is one of the most practical upgrades for outdoor living.
Why it is worth fixing early
Screen damage rarely stays the same size. Here is how a little tear usually grows.
A pinhole, a popped spline or a snag from a branch or pet claw.
Every breeze and summer storm pulls on the loose edge.
The tear runs, the mesh sags and the panel starts to flap.
Now insects, leaves and fronds come right through.
Catching damage early often means a simpler fix, like one panel or a strip of spline, instead of a whole wall.
Our process
From the first look to the finished screen, you know what is happening and why.
We inspect the mesh, spline, fasteners and frame to find out what is actually causing the problem.
You get a straightforward explanation of what needs repair, what can stay and which screen options fit your space.
Frames are prepped, mesh is tensioned evenly and new spline is seated firmly for a smooth, lasting finish.
We review the finished work with you and leave the job site clean.

Questions
It depends on how much of the mesh is still healthy. If damage is limited to a panel or two and the rest of the screen is flexible and intact, targeted repair usually makes sense. If the mesh is brittle, faded or tearing in several places, a full rescreen tends to be the better long-term choice, and we will explain why during the assessment.
Strong sun and humidity break down screen mesh over time, making it brittle and prone to tearing. Storms, falling palm fronds, pets and kids add physical wear. Loose screws and aging spline can also let otherwise good mesh sag or pull free.
Common options include standard fiberglass, finer no-see-um mesh for small insects, heavier pet-resistant screen and privacy or solar-style screens. The right choice depends on the area and how you use it, and options can be discussed during the assessment.
Yes. Frame condition is part of every assessment, because new mesh will not hold well on loose or damaged framing. If fasteners, spline or frame members need attention, we include that in the repair plan.
